Huge thanks for the CAPA nomination

I was thrilled, overwhelmed, by the nomination for my novella, The Pearl at the Gate. Here's what Shannon at TRS had to say...

Captain Roake Barbenoir and his wife Jenesta are each holding back from their marriage. Roake has spent his life on the sea. He's no gentleman but with Jenesta, his one true treasure, he conceals the dark, burning, sexual desires he so craves with her. Unleashing the beast in him is sure to leave his gentle wife turning away from him and their marriage.

For all her love for her husband, Jenesta feels like there is a part of him missing. Every time they start to grow closer, Roake grows cold and pushes her away, often times leaving on business for days. Jenesta feels the secret to her husband lies behind the locked door of his retreat. Defying his command, she enters the forbidden room and is stunned by what she finds.
Caught! For entering the room she will be punished with pleasure and sweet, addicting pain for the beast in her husband has been set free. Jenesta too has a secret desire that is about to unleashed.

Anya Delvay has created a stunning story that delivers everything a reader could ask for in a novel. Strong characters in the form of Roake, the intensely hypnotic alpha male and Jenesta, the sassy and strong heroine are a treat to behold. An exhilarating plot in the form of a night, one night of powerful seduction that is sure to get reader hearts racing. Let's not forget the scorching, red hot sex scenes that are smoking in intensity, yet emotionally riveting as the lovers surrender themselves to the dark passion. Warning! After reading this you will never look at pearls the same way again! This story will touch reader hearts as they take the journey between love, seduction, and honesty between these two memorable characters. A true keeper!
As I said in my email to TRS after reading that review, it brought tears (of joy) to my eyes, and hearing that I was nominated was equally as exciting. Being appreciated is such a wonderful feeling. Thanks TRS and good luck to all the nominees!
