I'm so excited to have my Inspirational, Relationship Rescue, nominated in the CAPAs this year. I am completely honored too. There are some terrific books nominated along with it.
The review from The Romance Studio for Relationship Rescue:
Marina Anthony seems to be a born matchmaker. She has trouble seeing her friends Robynn Hartley and Mitchell Regan so sad after their breakup six months before. With her husband's support she decides she has to do something to give the two a little push to resolve their differences. Both Robynn and Mitch wish they could undo their actions. Even their prayers seems to leave them with no ability to resolve the issues or move on.
Cindy K. Green writes a very sweet story of two people in love who aren't able to move past a mistake they made. They're trying to be friends, go to the same church, meet at various times around town, talk about inconsequential things. Most of us aren't happy with matchmakers in life but Marina seems to be a matchmaker with a twist. She sets the two up with dates she know won't be compatible! Predictably for her they meet in the coffee shop after church and start to talk.
The author does a great job winding faith throughout their stories. Even with faith she seems to point out that it’s communication with faith that makes the difference. Each have fears that don’t seem so bad when they share them with one another. This is a good tale that reinforces a need for couples to actually talk about what they’re thinking.
Good luck to all the nominees!
Nice cover art! I love it. I love stories about matchmakers too! Especially love Emma by Jane Austen.
