I'm really proud of these awards, especially now since I can go into any bookstore and see "CAPA Nominee" or "CAPA Winner" on a book. It makes me really proud of my review staff - the folks who work hard for us every day to read books and write reviews. They are the only ones allowed to nominate books, authors, and covers for these awards each year and they make me proud every day.
I'd also like to thank the review coordinators - Simone, Sandra, and Melissa - who make sure they get the books, answer questions from the reviews, authors, publishers, agents and everyone else. They post new books, they encourage. Thank you for all that you do!
Finally, I'd like to say congratulations to everyone nominated here today. We went through hundreds of review submissions last year and if you stood out and got a nomination - to me, you're already a winner. =)
Okay, I'll be announcing the awards and maybe a couple of other posts here and there throughout the day. I'll be posting an award every 30 minutes so we should finish up here around 9ish tonight. At the end I'll also announce who guessed the winners - or the most winners - to get the amazon gift certificate. =) We'll also be giving away books throughout the day too if you post, okay?

GOOD LUCK!! to all the nominees. As a TRS reviewer it was a difficult task with so many excellent authors and books to choose from. I wish you all the very best. I've enjoyed reading the excerpts posted already today. It's all very exciting. I would also like to say thanks to Tina, Simone, Holly and Katie and my fellow reviewers for being such a great bunch of people. I've been with TRS nearly a year I believe how time flies. Here's to another great year.

The excellent tales posted here, most of which I've read on my own or after reading the reviews of my cohorts at TRS, each deserve an award. For all the hard work and dedication you put into crafting stories that take us to a place above the humdrum of every day living I want to say thanks to all of you!! And Happy Valentine's Day!!
